River Farm Campground is unique in it's natural setting. Imagine yourself surrounded by nature, as you walk down one of the many wooded trails. A natural spring-fed pond offers catch-and-release fishing. There is an abundance of wildlife, including sand hill cranes, wood ducks, turtles, and white tail deer. This land was once owned by Pentwater's founder, Charles Mears and was passed in his estate to his daughter Carrie. When property taxes were created in Michigan, Carrie turned much of her property over to the State, however, she kept this beautiful plot. In addition to the pond, we have a newly created walkway over the Pentwater river wetlands with a deck at the river's edge.
